Apple and HTC make significant gains on Nokia

Apple (AAPL:Nasdaq) has overtaken Nokia (NOK1V:HEX) as the most sought-after mobile phone brand in China, including in third tier cities - Nokia's former stronghold, according to a China Confidential survey of 2,000 respondents in over 200 first, second and third tier cities taken at the end of September. Meanwhile, Taiwan's HTC (2498:HKG) has overtaken Nokia and gained ground on Apple among several key segments.
