Taiwan funds remain firmly in favour

  • Published 29 Jul 2010

Investor flows to Taiwan funds have been soaring for three consecutive weeks.

Taiwan funds remain in favour with investors after the signing of cross-straits trade agreements several weeks ago. Flows to Taiwan funds soared to $443.7m (Rmb 3.0bn, € 341.7m, £285.5m) in the last three weeks ending July 21, helping to reverse the trend of cumulative net outflows that has persisted all of this year (chart 2.2 and 2.4).
