China puts faith in Asian trade

Growth in trade with Asia and "newly rising" economies will take centre stage for China's trade policy in 2010 and beyond.
China intends to offset lacklustre prospects for trade growth in the US and Europe in 2010 by boosting its commercial ties with Asean, a 10-member grouping of south-east Asian nations, and other 'newly rising economies' such as Brazil, India and Africa.
