Although Zhongbai continues to struggle outside of its home Hubei, inflation should support sound revenue growth in 2010.
Background:Wuhan Zhongbai is a retailer based in Hubei province that operates department stores, chain supermarkets and convenience stores. Some 60%-70% of the company's sales are food. By Q309, the company had approximately 626 chain stores, including 130 warehouse supermarkets, 492 chain convenience stores and four department stores. Aside from within Hubei province, the company also operates outlets in Chongqing municipality.
