Hybrid vehicles – when government support drives world-class technological development

Hong Liu, a senior portfolio manager at Fortis Haitong Investment Management in Shanghai, talks on how environmental concerns in China could drive it to become a leading manufacturer of hybrid cars and the medium-term investor opportunities this presents.
The domestic Chinese stockmarket has put in a strong performance in recent weeks.
