What will the launch of newly approved stock index futures, margin trading and short selling products mean for the domestic stock market?
Last week, the China Securities and Regulatory Commission announced that the cabinet had approved in principle the launch of stock index futures, margin trading and short selling. Preparations for the stock index futures launch will take around three months, the regulator said.
