Mobile phones – Nokia losing share to Blackberry and Apple

Nokia stays on top with strong brand recognition but is losing share to competing smartphones such as Apple and Blackberry with high income groups.

Overall, 79% of respondents said they planned to buy a mobile phone within the next 12 months, demonstrating the high churn rate the industry commands in China. This increased among younger respondents, as well as higher income groups showing the increase in demand with higher spending power.
