Scramble for organic eggs

Organic egg producer DQY's profits have grown 500% since the melamine scandal hit China last October.
Health consciousness has hatched a clutch of consumer trends following a series of food scares and scandals in recent years, most recently the melamine-tainted milk disaster last year. One of these trends is the rising demand for organic eggs – free from the melamine that has also been found in contaminated poultry feed.
