Sales at China's biggest dairy producer are expected to recover to 90% of pre-melamine scandal levels this year.
Background:China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited (2319:HKG), is an investment holding company that, through its subsidiaries, manufacturers and distributes predominantly liquid milk products such as ultra high temperature (UHT) milk in China. The Inner-Mongolia based company was once the market leader with profits of Rmb 935.8m ($137m, €91.7m, £82.9m) in 2007, but suffered losses of Rmb 948.6m for its implication in the melamine milk scandal last year.
