The food and beverage company is targeting lower tier cities to drive revenues.
Background:Uni-President China Holdings (0220:HKG), a unit of Taiwan's largest food maker, Uni-President Enterprises, holds almost 7% of China's fruit juice drinks market (pure fruit juice as well as diluted fruit drinks), Euromonitor, a consultancy, estimates. It targets the domestic market with its own-brand beverages, which make up around three-quarters of revenues and drive the most profit. In addition to fruit juice drinks, the company also makes bottled tea drinks, as well as instant noodles.
