Perfect World – loyal customers spend more

In spite of a quarterly blip in the number of paying customers, average revenue per current user continues to grow.
Background:The online games developer and operator, Perfect World (PWRD:Nasdaq), holds 7.8% of the online games market by revenues, according to Analysys International, a consultancy. The company has a number of self-developed games currently in play such as its MMORPGs Perfect World, Legend of Martial Arts, Zhu Xian and Chi Bi, as well as an online casual game Hot Dance Party. Perfect World is the leading Chinese exporter of MMORPGs with a 27% share and operates its games in North America and Japan, among other regions.
