Cable TV: The Writing on the Wall?

Cable operators are coming under pressure from Internet Protocol TV provided by telecoms carriers through their expanding broadband networks.
Cable TV has been a big hit in China over the last two decades, but now as telecoms providers mover further into broadband, offering higher speeds and bandwidths to support TV streaming, a competitor is emerging. This has come in the form of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), which is delivered through telecoms carriers' broadband networks, and is now gaining traction in China.
