Sportswear makers shoot for the stars

Chinese domestic sportswear companies are benefiting from a cluster of benign trends and are set to make inroads into the international market as well.
China's sportswear business is the beneficiary of three big investment themes. The first is a shift in consumer dynamism from the developed to the developing world. The second is the aspiration among China's growing middle class for a cleaner, greener and healthier lifestyle, and the third is the transference of strong demand from China's large coastal conurbations to hundreds of lower-tier cities inland.
