As China Confidential went to press, world leaders were gathered in London for the G20 summit – a meeting much freighted with hopes of saving the world economy. Such meetings often turn out to disappoint in the substance behind the official rhetoric. But we think that no matter what substance emerges, the London G20 is assured a place in history.
