Thus far every area of economic strength has been offset by a patch of weakness. Now, however things are generally looking up.
All this year, China's growth story has been defined by a Yin-Yang debate. Every area of strength seemed to be offset by a patch of weakness, every bright shade balanced by a darker side. For every step that the boulder of fiscal stimulus was rolled up the hill, other Sisyphean endeavours seemed to slip a yard or two.
