Inflation: pork-led?

The risk of CPI inflation driven by food prices is strengthening.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), pork prices have gone up by almost 20% after 10 consecutive weeks of steady price increases in 470 farmers' markets across the country. Egg prices have also gone up by about 6% after five consecutive weeks of price growth, sparking debate that pork-led inflation, in particular, will return.
