Power price hikes
- Published 26 Nov 2009

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on November 20 raised electricity rates by 5.7% to Rmb 0.522 per kilowatt hour for businesses and industries. This was the first rate-hike since July 2008 as part of a long-term effort to meet costs and promote energy saving in line with soaring demand.
