'New generation' migrants

Around 60% of China's migrant workers are under the age of 30 yet have limited knowledge of farming and are keen to enjoy a city life.
The State Council, cabinet, recently released its 'No1 Central Document', a major policy report for 2010 laying out urbanisation targets for China's 'new generation migrant workers', or those born in the 1980s and 1990s. About 60% of China's 150m migrant workers are under the age of 30 yet have a limited knowledge of farming and more interest in living in China's rapidly growing cities.
