Shouguang – Rapid urban expansion

Intensive agriculture, logistics and heavy industry drive urban expansion this year of over 10%.
Urbanisation trend:Shouguang is a county-level city in the prefecture of Weifang, a booming city in the northern province of Shandong. Our estimates suggest Shouguang's central area is set to grow this year by around 2 sq km, up from a total of around 18 sq km at the start of the year – an expansion rate of over 10%.
