China's largest baby food maker is planning an initial public offering in Shanghai this year.

Background:Beingmate, China's largest baby food maker, has plans to list in Shanghai this year, the company's chief executive officer, Xie Hong, said. In addition to food, the company also makes baby accessories, owns a network of 1,000 domestic franchise stores and distributes overseas. In addition to its own brand products, foreign brands such as Dreambaby, Nature Babycare, NUK and Capella are also sold in Beingmate's stores. The company has 30 subsidiaries around China and 150 distribution centres. Its baby food products can be found in most supermarkets in China's first and second tier cities.
