The rise of domestic brands generates wealth, driving an urban area expansion of between 5% and 10% a year.

Urbanisation trend: Jinjiang is a prosperous county-level city in the prefecture of Quanzhou in the southeastern province of Fujian. Its built-up area is around 45 sq km, though the whole county stretches over 721 sq km of industrial and agricultural land.
