The government has pledged to focus on boosting consumer spending next year through driving urbanisation and continuing preferential tax initiatives.
Consumption is the catchword of 2010, or at least that was the outcome of the recent Annual Central Economic Work Conference, where it was decided that boosting consumption will be a key policy driver next year. But how will this be achieved?
