Property transactions remained steady WoW, with a 0.3% national decline in average sales volumes in the seven days to November 18, according to sales data monitored by China Confidential. Second-tier cities recorded the greatest falls, with sales in first- and third-tier cities rising WoW. Meanwhile, home prices rose 0.05% MoM in October, according to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data. This corroborates our House Buying Sentiment Index, which moved back into positive territory in October (Consumer Sentiment Macro Indicator, Nov 7).
