Real estate transactions in 18 first and second tier cities tracked by China Confidential picked up by an average of 6%WoW in the week ended June 3. Home sales in 21 third and fourth tier cities also increased by the average of 6.3% compared with one week prior. In the big cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, transaction volumes rose 14%WoW, 25%WoW, and 14%WoW and also registered WoW increases in 10 second tier cities including Tianjin, Nanjing, Wuhan and Chengdu.
